Hello, and welcome to my digital teaching portfolio. My name is Natassja King, and I trained at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, where I received my BFA Specialization in Art Education with distinction.

I became a teacher for many reasons, but chief among them is my dream of guiding and supporting students in the same way I was guided and supported by my own high school teachers. Without the influence of these role models during these critical years, I would not be the person I am today. To bear witness as a student discovers his or her own artistic voice would be my greatest privilege and joy as a teacher. 

In this portfolio, you will find my philosophy of education, my curriculum vitae, and examples of my teaching style and approaches to learning. My goal in creating this portfolio is to highlight the strengths that make me a passionate, effective, and consummate educator.
